I have only now gotten on the typewriter bandwagon and the set I went with is the Lawn Fawn's Just My Type. It really is a cute little set and I had so much fun making this card. This card was inspired by Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger: Type Hype! I loved the bright colors on the keys and the touch of metal. Lots of paper pieceing went in on this card. I stamped and embossed the image three times in black onto watercolor paper. Because I wanted color without having to color, lol. Instead of a black typewritter, lets try it out in a pretty blue color. Since the typewritter was blue I went with the keys being black. And what is a typewritter without a little message coming out of it right? This message was going to be fun because it is going on tye-dyed paper. The idea for the paper came from those amazing colors they keys were made with in the paper Cathy used for the trigger. I did the wrinkle free distress ink technique to create the tye-dyed look. Once it was really dried I embossed in black the sentiment. On the third image I used the direct to paper techn and covered it in pumice stone and then sprayed it down with perfect pearl's perfect pearl to give it a more metal look. The layout is frome CPS's current sketch challenge.
