Celebrating a little early

I've worked on a quick card today and even tried a new technique with it. The image is from Tiddly Inks and I paired it with my two new cuttlebug folders and some ribbon I've had laying around since last December. The dotted sky and ground I created for the image came from a tutorial by the amazingly talented Crissy that can be found on her blog. I loved how the ground turned out but think I still need to practice with the 'sky' part.

Challenges used:
Digital Tuesday - summer (4th of July is during the summer, lol)
...Wee Memories - red, white, blue
Tiddly Inks Challenge - red, white, blue
The Cuttlebug Spot - Independance Day
Colour Q - color challenge
Curtain Call - color challenge

she's adorable & beautifully colored (as usual). That's a neat technique that reminds me a lot of pointilism :) Big Hugs!

Great use of the Cuttlebug stars folder. I have been reluctant to get it because I wasn't sure how I would use it. The circle is great! Your coloring is fabulous! The background technique really adds a lot. Thanks for joining us at the Curtain Call!

Hi Cassie - this is great! I love the stamp and lovelovelove your coloring and the dotty background. What colors did you use for the grass? I don't really use Copics often but definitely need those colors. I love the effect!

Thanks for joining our Beary Sweet Challenge - your embossing is really neat on this card. Until now the star folder wasn't on my "want list" - you've convinced me!

Cheers,
Susan
